Forgive me if this post is a duplicate, I (or the DIS) seem to be having some trouble!
If I were to make ressies for 2 resorts for a split stay and then changed my mind and were able to stay at the 1st resort longer (or switch to a 2nd resort I hadn't planned on), do they charge a penalty? Would I be paying 2 deposits when the original ressies are made and do I risk losing the 2nd deposit? We would use AAA for room-only, or go with a package if they do the free dining again or something equivalent in value. I've never done a split stay and I'd like to know a little more of the financial drawbacks. I honestly wouldn't want to move up to a deluxe for a few days of relaxing at the pool if the weather turned nasty and cold... a waste of money to me... and the weather channel at best would only give a decent forecast about 10 days out. Not bad if there is a 5 day cancellation policy, but very bad if it's 45 days! Thanks in advance for all advice... there is a great bunch of folks here.
