I don't think anyone was being judgemental just wanted to make you aware of the risk you are taking. At points you will be carrying all your cash and you wouldn't be covered if anything happened.

I don't believe anyone was judging the amount just that it was all in cash. Disney is safer than some places but still isn't crime free unfortunately and we just want to make sure you know what you are doing before you go.
