Changing 10 day tickets to 8 day tickets?

We have already PIF for our upcoming vacation FD package that begins 8/28. We got the 10 day tickets with water option. 2 of the days, we are going to go to only the water parks, so therefore, we really just need 8 day tickets. I just looked and it's over $100 less for the 8 day tickets. We booked thru a travel agent. Is it too late to change the tickets without penalty? Thanks for any help.

Sorry I can't help, but we're going the same day as you and have 8 day tickets with a few extra days for water parks. Have fun and here's wishing us great weather.

"Officially" it is too late if you have a WDW Resort Package.
(Within 45 days of your arrival is "too late.)
But, they MIGHT not charge you. You just don't know.
If you ARE charged, I believe the "change penalty" is a $50 change fee and a $15 processing fee.
OTOH, if you have stand-alone tickets (NOT part of a WDW Resort Pkg.) it is also
"too late" as "officially" there is no refund given on purchased tickets

The difference price between an 8-day ticket and a 10-day ticket is $21.20, including tax.
So, for 8 individual tickets, the difference price will be $169.60.

You can always ask nicely.

Unfortunately, once you are within 45 days of arrival any changes to your resort package that result in a decrease in the total cost is subject to a $50 change fee. The fee is typically waived if the total cost increases, but not when it goes down.

Since you booked with a travel agent, you will have to go through that person to make any changes.
