If you change your 10 day ticket to an AP on the first day
Do you keep your previously scheduled park day reservations for the remaining 9 days?

Yes. Just did this in November. However, I do not believe they are extending that as an option to get an AP at this time. Perhaps someone here knows for sure.

I believe they are only allowing renewals at this time, and no purchases of a new AP with the exception of the Florida resident Pixie Dust pass.

Just make sure you don't use it during blockout dates otherwise can't upgrade is what people are posting on facebook.

That is a serious limitation if you can only upgrade to Florida Pixie Dust AP. So you can’t have visited a park on a weekend?

correct, if you visit on any day that would be blocked out by the AP you plan to get, you can’t get the AP. You can only get an AP that isn’t blocked out on the days you used the regular tickets on.

The question is can you purchase a Pixie then upgrade it later?

i just bought the pixie dust ap in december with no problems due to the weekends being blocked out just had to actually pay for those days.
