We got my cousin booked onto a Virgin flight to join on our trip to Orlando in 3 weeks.

We found several options but to complicate matters, she has just been given a job as Thomas Cook cabin crew and we couldn't book her flight until we knew her start date. Once we knew the start date would not affect the holiday we went to book her flights- of course by then all the seats on our plane had gone! (delighted she got the job but we wish we had known dates earlier!!!)

So we travel with Virgin from Gatwick on the same day. We are on the v27 and she is on v15 which takes off 2 hours later. Right now both flights are full.

When we check in at Gatwick i may ask if she can switch on to our flight if a seat has become available through cancellation or a no show.

Do they allow you to do this? Is it worth asking? Anyone done it?

She is 18 and fine to fly alone but it would be easier if we all arrive together...plus me and DH want help with DD4 and DS1 on the plane! LOL!!

Thanks in advance for any help.
Mandy :)

It's always worth asking, they can only say no and if they do you haven't lost anything. :confused3

BUT, they may say yes, so I would definitely ask the question when I get there.
