Changes?

In My MDE this morning:

"June 9, 2017
On June 9th, we will be unable to make new Resort hotel reservations online and over the phone. You will still be able to purchase tickets and make FastPass+ selections. Thank you for your patience while we work to improve your future experience. We apologize for any inconvenience."
 
Not sure what they are doing. I just checked it this morning and it is now showing "June 10", instead of "June 9". Also it does appear as though the search bar styling has changed.

***Edit***: However, unlike yesterday, it is showing prices for rooms if you search for dates. DW and I are going to CBR in August and I did a search for Aug 12-19 and it does bring up prices.
 
I wonder if it has anything to do with the changes IT is making to close the loopholes that have been allowing SDFP.

Very possible. One system might 'feed' into the other and need to be updated. It is surprising that Disney would have the Resort Booking down for so long though. I'm not an I.T. Professional (although I am the resident geek where I work), but it seems like IT would have had the update done and tested to ensure as little down time as possible.

***EDIT*** Another after thought (apologies, not fully awake yet). While it says new booking is down, how is this affecting changes to existing reservations? DW and I are at CBR, but I'm contemplating switching to CSR (less construction, and we both haven't stayed here before).
 

Per Disney: Currently we are undergoing some magical enhancements on our reservation system so all modifications and notes(I asked about modifying reservations), online and over the phone, are currently unavailable. We do expect that it will be back up by noon today(June 10, 2017), EST.
 
Ugh. Our payment was due yesterday. We've tried to pay, and on the phone, they assured us that we would be fine. Nothing is deleted on our Disney itinerary. I trust Disney, but this makes me nervous that they will delete our stuff.

Is this for WDW or DCL? Did you see the payment coming out of your account? I would be concerned if you don't see a payment on your account

You must not be familiar with Disney IT. It is embarrassingly awful.

Only our deposit shows, but they did say they sent out our Magic Bands yesterday. My husband is trying to call right now. 10:40 CST/11:40 EST.

Keep us informed as to what is going on! They should allow some leeway (hopefully), especially if they told you everything was ok.
 
I was just able to complete my online check-in, so it seems that some of the functionality is back.

Also-super exited to be this close to my vacation!
