Does anybody what changes are being made to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade at the Magic Kingdom?

What units will be updated?

Will any new characters be added to the parade?

Will the soundtrack be updated or changed completely?

If someone could please share some answers, it'd be very much appreciated.

I don't think we'll know for sure until the first party happens. There are always some changes, though, just like Hallowishes changes from year to year. That's part of what makes it exciting. :)

It would be nice to get a preview though!

A couple of changes that I heard might be made to the MK Xmas Parade this year:

-The candy machine float from the Halloween Parade will be used...and Goofy will ride it.

-Clarabelle will be placed on the bake shop float, replacing Goofy.

I also have a hunch that Brer Fox might rejoin Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit in the showboat unit.

While as someone said, we dont know for sure, I think the parade and fireworks audio will be the same.

One thing that most know but some dont, so I'll mention is, the way the party starts is going to be different.
Instead of sending everyone to an area, they are going to keep everyone around Main Street and do the REGULAR showing of Wishes at 6:00. At that time, only the party ticket holders will be allowed to re-enter the park for the party, and then the special fireworks will be at 9:15.

To anyone who went to MVMCP on Monday, could you please tell what changes were made to the Christmas Parade this year (updated units, new characters, new floats, etc.)?

We were there last night. Admission is possible after 4:00 pm. We got our wrist bands as we entered through the ticket pass gate.

We just mixed into the day crowd and unlike other years, no one began asking to see wrist bands until about 7:00. There even was a PA announcement prior to 7:00 that MVMCP tickets still could be purchased.

At a party that's a sell-out, most likely the day crowd will be shown the door right after the Wishes fireworks.

Sorry, but this topic is specifically about the parade.
