Changes to Extra Magic Hour

If i were to guess i would actually say alot. It always amazes me how much people just either do not care or do not know any better.

The point is that the EMH nights should be a lot easier to administer than the EMH mornings. As long as the CMs are looking for the bracelets (if memory serves, they were neon orange colored, and easy to pick-up at night), then folks won't be able to beat the system. I find it hard to believe that Disney consistently looks at room keys of guests as they enter on EMH mornings.

Sure, you could have someone get in line unknowingly. However:

1. It will probably only happen once since they will quickly be educated as to why they cannot go on the ride.

2. While it make give the appearance of a longer line, a CM stopping the guests from boarding means that I (as someone waiting further back in the line) have not been inconvenienced in the slightest.

So if you want to do early entry at one park, then leave for the afternoon (maybe to swim or rest) and then do the late night at the other park (the one open late) you need the "AP" or the "Hopping" option?

That seems correct to me.

Although note that I don't think they are going to do an early opening AND a late closing in one day. The information that's been released so far has indicated one or the other on each calendar day.

That said, I do believe that during the test phase they did have one park opening early and another staying open late on the same day. I know when the test was first announced (about a month ahead of time) that many folks here were pretty upset at how a changing EMH morning schedule would impact their itinernaries and PS'.

I guess we'll all find out together when the actual schedule is released.

I think it will also be interesting to see what times of year the late night EMH is offered. Between the already late summer and holiday hours, MVMCP, MNSSHP, E-Ride Nights and other miscellaneous events, it doesn't seem feasible that the late night EMH could be offered year-round.

On the Theme Parks board, Mark Smith has posted the details as told to him by two CMs at GF. :cool1: :cool1:

Sorry I can't do a link. Granny even told me how some months ago! :guilty:
I guess I should practice!

When did you receive the wristbands? Were they giving them out all day long if you showed resort IDs? I'm curious how this will be "enforced"....?

Hi, DiznEeyore,
Someone who posted after me was correct, we recieved the wristbands @ the town Hall on main street, after 4pm, enjoyed the rest of the afternoon & evening (we decided to go to the magic kingdom around 4 anyway that day), and just stood sitting on the porch @ the CP rest. watching everyone leave after wishes! It was really great, all the characters came out around 12:30am to meet and greet, we took alot of pictures we wouldn`t normally have if the streets were as crowded as the daytime :flower1: Sorry this reply took so long, I wasn`t on-line for a while ( trying to finish decorating the christmas tree!!)
