Hi Folks
I've just done a survey on reactions to a new look and feel DLP Booking Website. Sounds like a survey similar to ones OP have done in the park???
It looks much more slick and modern, and gives many more options for spending money!!! Making it easier to book extras (like premium rooms, Fast Passes and dining options and rather interestingly prices out the hotel and tickets separately......)
I thought you'd all appreciate some screen shots of the new proposals, but of course this could change, but it all seemed pretty well thought out and comprehensive!
First was choose your dates and hotel - no real functional changes so no screen shot I'm afraid. (dates I put in were for 23rd Oct 2012 for 3 nights)
Next was your Park Ticket and Options, and this is where it gets more interesting (and pricy of course!)
Then a summary of your hotel and ticket choice, but shown in such a way as you might like to choose a different hotel and upgrade your Experience
Then an option to add extras
And somewhere in the process was a calendar with prices on it showing what your selection would cost on different dates (v good I thought)
I didn't capture the whole process, but in summary, for those of us used to booking, you can quickly identify the options you would normally choose and skip the upgrades and extras (if you can resist the urge!!). I think it does really hep you to compare packages, esp if you want to weigh up hotel choice vs Experience.
Discuss!!!
