Changes to Backstage Magic Adventure

Hi Folks,

I have just gotten word from ABD that there will be some changes made to the Backstage Magic Adventure.

First, the Disneyland Welcome Dinner will be moved to the Big Thunder Ranch inside the Magic Kingdom.

Second, and this is BIG, Day 5 will start with a Character Breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe and then into DCA prior to park opening for an experience at Soarin, a spin on Toy Story Mania and a backstage experience at Cars Land and "FastPass service to a select attraction".

Finally, your Farewell Dinner will now be held at the Carthay Circle Restaurant followed by VIP seating for World of Color.

This means that the Steakhouse 55 dinner and breakfast at Goffy's Kitchen have been replaced.

These are awesome additions.

Those are amazing changes! Do these changes go into effect immediately or are they for next year's dates?

This is an immediate change and will begin with the next scheduled Adventure beginning April 28th.

Awesome!!!!! I wonder how much the price will jump for next year. We were already considering this for next year, and the scales have most definitely just tipped in that direction. Thanks so much for sharing this new news!

The Farewell Breakfast is still being held at Storyteller's Cafe.

I'm happy to see backstage tour at Carsland, but sad to see Goofy's kitchen go especially if it is replaced by StoryTeller's Cafe for two mornings. Goofy's Kitchen was my favorite breakfast!

I'm sure this was a time saving decision.

In order to fit in Soarin, Cars Land and Toy Story Mania, you have to be in the park very early.

Storyteller's Cafe is at the entrance to DCA. Goofy's Kitchen is the other direction.

Travel time to and from the DL Hotel eats up some of the time needed to get to the attractions before the gates open.

I think it is a great change. Our group lost of TON of time in Goofy's Kitchen eating breakfast and we had to run to Soarin' to make it there in time. I would rather spend the time in Cars Land!
