Changes in two years

Last time we were at WDW was 12/2009. Have there been any significant changes that would be good to note before our trip in October? Any new character sightings? Better character meals? Just trying to collect new info for our trip.

Star Tours has been greatly improved.

Haunted Mansion has a whole new queue section, make sure you stick to the left when you get to pick a side. Check out the ground to the right of the sea captains grave near the garbag for an extra special surprise.

Toontown was leveled at the beginning of the year and no longer exists.

There is a new parade "Main street electrical parade" but i dont know if it is on in october

have kids, Pooh's queue has also been improved. My daughter went in line just to play.

Subbing to find out some info! We are going in December and haven't been since 2008. Not to hijack the thread but do the shows change from year to year? i.e. we did Hoop De Doo last time, will it be different now? Same question about things like Bug's Life 3-D, Philamagic etc?

Any info would be great!

Bug's life is currently in a refurb til Oct. Phineas and Ferb are a character meet and greet at HS, there's a new Pooh meet and greet there too.

They called off that Refurb, it's open. There's a whole thread about it on the Themeparks board.

Toy Story Mania in DHS! That may have opened in Spring 2009 but still is great. Love the new queue at Haunted Mansion.

Captain EO has (temporarily?) replaced Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Lightning McQueen's in and Herbie's out in Lights! Motors! Action!, Mickey Mouse and the princesses are at the front of the Magic Kingdom and Tink is in Adventureland, Star Tours has been refurbished (2.0), and the queues have been updated at Pooh and Haunted Mansion.

I almost forgot the Enchanted Tiki Room reboot to something closer to the original version!
