Changed Vacation Date

Well, last night my husband said he wouldn't be able to take the time off work during our scheduled vacation so I had to work on changing everything this morning. I haven't touched our SD portion of the trip, but Disney is all taken care of. We are now leaving on Oct. 2nd to CA. I had to pay $90 to change our airline tickets because the price increased for the date we travel.

If we stayed at the DLH, our price would have increased by $600. PPH was $2000 (for the pkg) so we downgraded to that. It isn't a "downgrade" for my fam though, since my boys love the pool area there.

The CM who assisted me (a supervisor), told me something I had never heard before. She said that just because I'm staying on campus, it does not mean I will be able to do MM on every day it is offered. She said DL wants to give other patrons a chance to enjoy it as well, so they don't like to exclude. I will only get (for sure) 1 MM, which is guaranteed by my park hopper ticket, just like everyone else. She said that depending on occupancy when I arrive, they will decide whether or not to allow me MM access for additional days.

I noticed that policies seem to vary depending on what CM you speak with.

Maybe the CM wsn't talking about MM because you can use that each day it's offered. There is a Toontown party that is when TT opens an hour early for resort guests that you can enjoy only one day of you visit.

Agreed. I've never heard of hotel guests not being able to use a MM just because they already attended one. That takes away one of the main reasons people stay on property.

Yea they are not supposed to tell you that you can go every MM. Who knows you may be recording the phone call! But when you get to the front desk for check-in they will give you the "correct" information!

BTW... Change your dates??? Shoulda just left him at home AND book anther trip for a later date!
