changed resorts today

just thought i'd let you know that i decided to change my stay from CBR to POFQ what made me change my mind was listening to my DB gilrfreind saying how lovely it was and how much she enjoyed her stay there oh and the boat to downtown disney worked in it's favour

POFQ is a beautiful resort - you will not be disappointed! The boat down to DTD is wonderful especially at night with the lights of DTD.

We have just returned from a week at POFQ. Now I know I have nothing to compare it to but this resort is just lovely. It is quiet and pretty, and the walk along the river makes you feel you are out in the country somewhere. The other resorts we visited just seemed much busier, though some may like that of course. The boat to Downtown Disney is a nice touch too.
Just can't wait to go back.

I've not stayed at POFQ but I can absolutely agree that being able to get a boat to DTD is great Much better than a bus

sharon how are you doing?i must admit i have only been back posting for a couple of weeks(just too depressing when you have nothing booked)yes we are still getting married next year hoping for 17th october at the yatch club gazebbo or sunset pointe just have to wait untill october to get the wedding booked i will keep you updated on how things go,lovely to hear from you

Were fine.Our holiday is also booked for next year,were going in April staying 10 nights at Pop,then staying at the Tradewinds St Petes for 4 nights.
Im in planning mode now

It nice that you have a hotel choice that you feel happy with.. I am just the same.. I changed resorts after I booked.. Now you can really look forward to your holiday without any doubts.

Hi

We've stayed at CBR and POFQ and would go back to POFQ. Both are nice but POFQ is so compact making it feel more friendly. It's nice to be able to use the facillities at POR as well and the boat to DTD is great. We never got time to do it but try and plan in the horsedrawn carriage ride around the resort if you can.

Glad this had got a good response. I booked yesterday for POFQ in sep. I Chose it because it looked, pretty laid back.

Don't forget POR is your "sister" resort of POFQ! You have full access there too. Old man Island, the fishing hole, renting bikes to ride along the "bayou", and the scenery in general, are well worth a few hours of your time. You just hop the ferry to get there also. Enjoy. We have kids, so POR makes more sense for us, but we visited POFQ too. Eat some pralines for me!
