The airline called and changed our time going back. We check out of the hotel (PC) at 11, I believe. We don't go to the airport until almost 4. The hotel will keep our luggage. What are some ideas for spending those few hours? THANKS

A character meals at one of the hotels?

Some shopping in Downtown Disney?

Going to check out some other resorts for future trips?

Just some ideas. ;)

We have the same situation. We will check out of the CR and don't leave for the airport until late afternoon. We are having breakfast at Chef Mickey's, then DD8 will go on the Pirate Cruise, and then she and I will head to Downtown Disney for a couple of hours.

If you call the front desk on the morning you are to check out and tell them you have a later flight they will sometimes let you have the room till 1. We've done that a couple times. We are going to do that on our trip this June also. Our plans are to go shopping at DTD that morning.

Our family also likes to kill some time at Downtown Disney when we don't want to waste a day of park tickets.

Looking at the other responses, I think that a character breakfast on the last day would be a good way to say good-bye. I think I may add that to MY plans!

Do you have MYW tickets? Once you have 7-day passes, the price differences are only like $2-3 a day. Might be worth it to add an extra day even if you only get a few hours to spend in the parks.

I was just checking on MYW tickets for some family members - the difference between a 6 & 7 day MYW with hopping is only $1.00. Like NEDisney said, it would be worth it for a half a day in the Parks to me.

Try to get the later check-out and go swimming in the morning, have lunch in Downtown Disney and go shopping.
Or like others have said, have a late character breakfast and check out the monorail resorts, or Epcot resorts
Or have lunch at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club (I want to try this on our next trip!) :mickeybar
