Changed my reservation

I admit I was afraid to contact MS considering some of the negative feedback on here (It was only my second time calling, this will be my first DVC Stay, first call to book, this call to change res.) I had a treehouse villa and switched to 2 br. standard view at AKV Kidani. Originally the THV appealed to me as I thought i'd be bringing my mother and father, as well as my sister, her husband and my niece, but as my sister is pregnant with her second, due in July and our trip is in September, they won't be coming and now a 2 br. will be fine for all involved.

and I'm not afraid to admit that part of the reason I wanted to change was so I could start my planning and research all over again

Good that you were able to change! Did you get a lock off, or a dedicated 2 bedroom. The dedicated only has 1 entrance, but it has 2 queen beds in the second bedroom, if that is important to you.

I have a lock off, which I'm assuming means I have one bed in the 'studio' portion. I was thinking of giving the master to my parents and taking the studio for myself, and knowing my niece, she'll see the pull out sofa bed and want to sleep there anyways!

It sounds like you have just what you need! In your Kidani 2 bedroom, your niece will even have her own bathroom. She can chose to take the sleeper sofa or the sleeper chair. Have a great time!
