After reading several bad threads of rope drops here recently I decided that the Garden Grill breakfast was worth it to us. I had cancelled my 8:20 reservation time a couple weeks ago but scored another at 8:00 today for March 31st.

I think I am going to do the EMM at the Magic Kingdom as well.

I think you made a wise decision. I was kicking myself for canceling our PPO Garden Grill reservation last November when we got stuck in insane RD lines!

And remember if you like character meals. GG is so small its not uncommon to see all of the characters at least twice and sometimes three times while your eating.

Just curious-

What’s the offerings at breakfast for non meat eaters?
I'm a non meat eater and left GG full. It was so nice, the food is a little better than other Character Meals. The cinnamon skillet was amazing! I could have eaten the entire platter.
We saw the characters 3 times, it was great fun. And it rotates! What more could you ask for?

We’ve been doing this for years. Hitting up GG PPO then jumping on Soarin. I love GG, even if it wasn’t a great strategical restaurant I’d still eat here each trip.

It's the only way I will do early morning at Epcot.

Us too! It was a wonderful way to begin a morning in Epcot. I also enjoy Akershus for PPO breakfast, although I have zero interest in FEA. That early morning stroll through the WS is breathtaking. The walkways are clear, the dew is still on the flowers and shrubs. It is a lovely mornign IMO.

Sounds wonderful! My daughter is "over" princesses and refuses to meet them. LOL! I would book it otherwise.

LOL! I get it! I dragged my family to a slew of character meals last trip. They gave up protesting and came along for the ride. I will say that Akershus was not one of them because I was not willing to test their patience to that degree/ LOL!

I'm sure you'll be glad you rebooked the Garden Grill; we were there in January and loved it.
The food was extremely good, plentiful, and hot.
The characters, the servers and the fact that it's a moving rotunda restaurant make it IMO, a definite must do.

It all looks great, but in no way is it worth $160 for four people. But the added ease and stress free walk into Epcot and with a easy ride on Soarin, that will factor in, that is why I am going to do it. How long before Disney will figure out a way to charge for this breakfast and add on a cost for the quick ride on Soarin?

It was worth it for us. The character interaction was out of this world. They spent a good 7/8 minutes hanging with us. All the characters at once. Then another minute or two one at a time throughout the meal.

Food was fantastic. Mickey insisted we dip the bacon in the Nutella....he's a genius.

Oooh! 2 weeks until I get that cinnamon roll again. It's the best one of property.

This is what I am most excited about lol. I keep seeing a photo of it and it makes me drool every time. We have two booked in our 2 week trip and I might well keep both just for this. I must be crazy lol.
