First, I want to thank everyone for their support in my attempt to be on television! HOWEVER, after watching several shows and talking to many people, I have decided against doing it.
Watching the show, I have seen that many of the people who go on are WAY over the top...I really don't have any fashion dilemmas to begin with (other than wearing sweats to school w/my hair in a ponytail) but the people on the show are BAD...I had some suspicions about this.
In talking to maaany people, I have found out (as I suspected) that the majority of these people come in looking pretty normal and are "uglified" to make them look much worse than normal. The friends or "plaintiffs" are sometimes encouraged to make mean or demeaning statements about the person that is "on trial". It just doesn't seem right for me. I don't want to have them make me out to be a complete mess, outside of school (it's college, who cares what you look like?) I dress very nice and am a bit of a designer freak.So, in conclusion, it's just not for me!!!
