Changed from AKL to WL

Well we were going to AKL but now I have changed my ressy to WL.... DW has always wanted to stay there so I did the change and then told her.....
I have only walked through it but I really hope it is as nice as it looks

I have stayed at both and I love WL.

I have never felt so relaxed and on vacation as I did when staying there.

We stayed there in 01 and to be honest it wasn't all we thought it would be it was very dark and dingy looking almost like a cave or dungeon. I hope your experiance is better but it is one resort at WDW that we will not stay in again.

I love them both. A savana room is the best choice but WL is just as god if you are not on the savana. You are so close to everything.

I am doing a split stay in December AKL/SSR and am thinking of changing SSR to WL.

I don't think that you will regret it. They are both unique in their own ways but I favor the WL because it seems that the AKL is too far removed from everything. While at WL you can hear the excitement ( fireworks, train whistle etc) from the MK if you are woods view on the MK side of the lodge. You are on Bay lake and you can rent watercraft, laze by the beach and view the ELP from the beach. Lots of things to do. Either place that you stay at will be great though.
