Change your Username?

What would your screen name on the DISBoards be, if you could change it? I know it is possible for you to 'troll', but that's not what I'm talking about here. This is really a more innocent question.

I liked 'GoofyDad', but I was disappointed when it was already taken. So in a fit of indecision to add "something" to it, my birthdate was August 1969, hence the '869' part of my handle.

I'd really, really like to be "DarthGoofy"... Would it take a decision of the DIS Supreme Court to change it now?

Ok, that got my attention! I'm not in the clique, of course, just a wannabe looking in, wondering why I wasn't invited to the big party.

Hmmm, if I were to switch usernames I'm not sure what it would be. I have a different username for every discussion board I am a member of. I guess it's the ADD in me.

You have different user names for the different discussion boards? How do you keep them all straight? I use the same name for all the different boards Im a member of. Guess Im just not that clever to come up with something.

I'm the type of person that likes to complicate things. Probably why I have 4 kids and 6 pets! I don't keep them straight sometimes and have to think about which username I should be using. I should have kept them all the same--would have been easier.

I would change my username to Alex.....

We only change usernames in cases of safety issues, for example someone registers with their full name

I would change mine. I don't care for it, I think it's silly. Everything else I tried seemed to be taken though.

I would LOVE to be able to change mine. The slush part of my username was actually part of my last name. But, with Sparx getting adopted, my last name was also changed, so I am no longer a 'slush'. It reminds me of my exhusband everytime I see it LOL

Everytime I see your user name I see "lush". I'm betting that you're not one, though.

I'm luvmydogs everywhere, except for the EZ Boards, where it was already taken. I like my name because it reminds me of catsrule--long-time poster Mary Jo--and her cat, His Handsomeness, who inspired it.

As for Tigger&Belle and her myriad of usernames...I went to send her an invite to another message board I'm on, then later found out that she already was a posting member--just under a different name. DOH!

I'd forgotten about that and a good reason to stick with one username or at least variations of one.
