Change Username

When I registered, I used my real name as my username. Is there a way to edit my username without setting up a new account?

You can basically "abandon" the current account and start fresh with a different user name. Change the email address associated with the current account -- even something made up since you don't wish to use that account. Then register a new username and only post under the new username. The old one will eventually drop off the top page of threads and be forgotten.

Did the same thing when I signed up. Seems like a pretty easy option to add in, but I'm sure there is a reason.
