my daughter will be 10 at the beginning of the cruise but turns 11 halfway through. Will she be allowed in the tween area (I think it's the Edge for 11-13 yr olds)? If she can't on day 1 when she is still 10 can she go to it when she turns 11. Or is she stuck in the Oceaneers section for the whole cruise. I heard they strictly enforce the age for the clubs.

My kids have been going to the Edge since they turned 10. You just need to sign a waiver. My son turned 10 the second day of our cruise and they let him in on the second day. He wasn't allowed in the first day because he was 9. I see no reason you daughter won't be allowed in on day 1, but you will probably still need to sign the waiver since she will still be 10. They have always allowed 10 year olds to age up to the Edge.

My DD is 10. we signed the waiver just this past April. She enjoyed it. Last year at 9 she liked the clubs...but this year she was just too big. Now the edge is come and go. there is no sign in or sign out or tracking of the wristband...so as long as you are comfortable with your daughter coming and going.

She *may* be allowed to attend Edge from the beginning of the cruise, aging up is at the discretion of the CMs and usually based on how many of that age are already onboard. She definitely would be allowed as of her birthday. Age 11 (and 12) actually has the option of either the Oceaneers Club/Lab or Edge and may go back-and-forth as they choose. She will probably be able to start at Edge if she so desires, but you'll have to ask once onboard.

Enjoy your cruise!
