Pardon my lengthy question . . .
I'm helping my sister plan a Disney trip for her, her DH and her 3 DS. They haven't been in many years and likely won't go again, so this trip is a BIG deal to them. My sister and her 3 DS are all set with tickets, and their FP window opens Saturday. Her DH will be using an old, old ticket that can't be linked to MDE - it must be done at Guest Services when they get there (we've both talked to multiple CMs so unfortunately I don't think there's any way around this problem). I asked whether they could give her DH some kind of a FP "placeholder" so that he will at least be able to make FPs with them. Unfortunately, no go, so he will be stuck trying to make same day FPs that somewhat match up with theirs - likely a long shot and definitely a hassle.
I was thinking about my sister's predicament today and had an idea - wondering if you all think this will work. I am an AP holder and can currently book FPs for the window that includes my sister's trip. Could I become friends with my sister in MDE, then have her book FPs for her, her 3 DS and me. Then once her DH gets his ticket activated and linked in MDE, she could use Change Party to switch those FPs from me to him?
I'm unclear on what will get MDE accounts flagged or frozen or whatever these days - I definitely don't want that to happen, but I would also hate for my brother-in-law to get stuck riding Barnstormer and Dumbo while the rest of his family rides 7DMT and Space
(I'm exaggerating, of course, but just want to try to save them some uncertainty and a lot of hassle.)
