Oh..and the same to you! I forgot to buy corned beef, so we'll have to enjoy it sometine in April. The local store was selling "ready made meals" for nearly $12 per person. I'll pass. Did you have a traditional meal? I don't make the cabbage, but we both really enjoy corned beef on rye.

I have a corned beef in the crock pot with lots of potatoes. Good thing I'm doing a bunch of yardwork today as I'll be eating too much for dinner!!!

It is a good day for gardening here in Ohio, too. I cook corned beef in the crock pot too...but I add plenty of carrots. The carrots get so salty, and we both enjoy them.It's probably the only time I "salt" anything. DH does use the salt shaker.

I love the "salty" potatoes. I never thought to do carrots...yum!!! I know, I'm not big on salt at all either but DH is a whole 'nother story!!!
