What's wrong with your neck Bobbi??? Poor thing. I certainly know how neck pain goes, tho I never have had a shot. I broke my neck in 3 places years ago in a car accident. My back pain is a result of that too.......old age catching up with it now.

Good luck with the shots.

Thank you. I woke up one morning in February with this pain, and I've been trying to find answers. I do have arthritis, and I am over 60. Kitty 34 I'm glad to be off for the summer, and I'll bet you are too!

Bobbi.....have you ever tried physical therapy? That totally helped when my neck went haywire about 7 years ago.

Yes, physical therapy was the first treatment. I'm pretty sure it's a nerve problem, the occipital nerve, and these injections have a good history of helping people according to what I've read and what the doctor says. The papers that he gave says not to expect results right away, but 24 to 72 hours after would give a good indication of whether to get another injection.
