I'm fine; tired a bit from mowing all day but I'll get used to it. How are you doing? How's the weather down under? Hopefully you guys have dried out.

Its definitely heading into winter over here. We've dried out from the floods, mostly...the impacted are still cleaning up and looking to rebuild....but winter is all about rains. Thankfully, not flooding rains. It's been reasonably wet so far and we've already exceeded the May average rainfall already. More rain forecast for tomorrow. I'm doing okay, busy at work. You must be lookiing forward to summer break?

My son is in grade 5 this year. It's all about learning independence and doing projects/assignments at the detriment of basic grammer, maths and comprehension. It won't be long before he hits high school.
We have Primary School, which goes from prep to grade 6 then High School, which goes from year 7 to year 12. Years 11 and 12 are the crunch years over here and the kids do the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). The grades they get in the exams/assignments count towards their University entry score. The alternative to the VCE is the International Baccalaureate and their IB marks counts towards their University entry score.
