Hubby and I decided to postpone our 2009 trip. We can,t justify going back after being there last August. So we decided to spend the money on revamping our funiture and buying an air conditioner. We are going to go back either 2010-2011. Hopefully there will be new things to see and do...

Us true Disney lovers go more than once a year! We leave on Friday and it will be our third trip since the beginning of October!

I know you will enjoy your new furniture and air conditioning though!! We purchased some new furniture in the last year and it has really helped me enjoy our home more. And I would love an air conditioner, but we are planning on moving in the next few years and don't feel it is worth it to put one in this place.

Hey I thought I was the only Multiple trip taker from Dartmouth (in Oakville now )

I have been luckly with 3 trips last year if you include Dreams Take Flight. This year I will be going with the Dream Kids (I hope) but I have to wait until December for vacation and am taking my mom (who is still in Dartmouth btw).

It seems decadent but the only reason I have been able to go multiple times last year is because of cheap flights out of BUF and DVC. Plus Dw was on Mat leave and therefore we had very flexibale vacation dates. BUF flights are the best part of living in Ontario. Was supposed to be in Vero this week but had to cancel becuase of a BIG vet bill Christmas.

Eyeoreloverforever...by any chance do you have a child at Portland Estates Elementary ? My daughter came home yesterday telling me about someone who was going for March break and had already gone 2 x in the past year . She was using this to convince me that we too, could go again (we were there for March break last year). Do you fly from Halifax when you go? We are considering flying from Bangor, Portland or Manchester this summer.

We are in a similar situation as Kazzy1548, we need a new washer and dryer (and the fridge keeps making really loud noises) but are considering a trip this summer...decisions,decisions . I couldn't go unless I knew we had our finances in order and had some $$ in savings for the appliances. I keep trying to convince myself it wouldn't matter if we had to wash our clothes in the bathtub and hang them on the deck to dry

We are really happy with our decision. We will enjoy our trip more as well and appreceiate it more, then just going for the hell of it... Hopefully enjoying our AC for this summer.....

No, that is not us. But it is nice to hear there are others like us. My friends all think I am nuts or else they are jealous.

Everyone choses to spend their money in thier own way. Our way is to spend it all on Disney!

I forgot to answer some of your questions.

In October we flew out of Halifax because we caught a half price seat sale. In December we flew out of Halifax because that is where we normally fly from and that trip had been planned for many months.
We are flying out of Bangor this time because it will be cheaper. We will see how it goes. We have driven to Bangor or Portland many times before for various shows, but have never flown out of there.

The only reason we are able to go so often is because I am a SAHM so my schedule is flexible, dh is a lawyer and is pretty flexible and works while we are down there via phone and computer, the kids are young so still easy to take out of school, we own DVC so accomodations are paid for whether we use them or not, and we have annual passes. So we usually have one trip planned well in advance and the rest happen when we have time or find a great flight deal.

That's exactly what we said after our August 2007 trip...........but as you can see, we're headed back in April 2008........the kids are getting older and not much time before they want nothing to do with us anymore
