Change of address - new passport needed?

I have just realised that since I last used my passport we have moved house, do I have to get a new passport?

Tried ringing the UK passport office, kept on hold 10 mins, then constantly disconected....

We moved 18 months ago and I rang the passport office to inform them, they said they did'nt need to know!!!! Your address does not show on your passport but I don't know if things have changed since then. Do they not have a web site with FAQ.

No, your passport does not have your address anywhere on it.
however you may need to make sure your driving licence is correct...

The website FAQ does not mention address's at all.

Driving licence was sorted last year.
