Chances to fish on the beaches??

We'll be on the Magic Eastern next week and have yet another question for all the experts here.... I have a 10 year old son who LOVES to fish off docks, piers, and pretty much anywhere safe. I know there is an official excursion at Castaway Cay - but the pricing seemed a little high for our entire family of five to go on - and we don't really want to split up. When we fish off piers, we immediately throw our catches right back in. Anyway - does anyone know if there is a way we can do this on any of our stops? Any suggestions? Thank you!!

I would doubt it. My DH went on the CC excursion. Yes it was pricey. He went by himself, and he did say that the two boys who were on the trip were getting a bit bored. They go after bigger fish, so they aren't constantly catching anything.

On our Western trip last May, we took a charter trip in Cozumel. Didn't catch anything, and the "crew" didn't speak English. I wouldn't do it again.
