Chances of getting VGC this summer?

We're just finalizing our deal for purchase of the Villas at the Grand Californian and hope to go sometime in the next 2 1/2 months. Any idea if we'll have any luck snagging anything other than the Disneyland or Paradise Pier Hotels?

As of now I think GCV is pretty full for the next 6 months or so. I've been trying to move my vacation dates around in Sept and been unsucessful. You might be able to get one day here and there but so many days in a row might need more than a little pixie dust...

There really isn't much of a track record to go by right now since VGC is so new. Your best bet is to call MS and ask.

It looks like it is going to be tough to snag a room at VGC this summer. DH and I haven't been successful in booking either a studio or 1 bedroom. There are a couple 1 night stays available in September, but we are hoping to go sooner than that. I suggest calling MS often and/or waitlisting for the time you want to go as there may be cancellations.

At this point, I'll reluctantly book the Paradise Pier or Disneyland Hotel. Just nice to know that we have that 7-11 month window for future bookings.
