Chances of getting a wheelchair at the parks?

Hi all. We are arriving at WDW this Sunday and need a wheelchair. I had make a reservation with Scooterbug a month ago, but somehow I forgot to pay for it! Of course, the reservation has been canceled, and now there is nothing available until Monday afternoon. I also called Buena Vista scooters, and they have availability but we have to meet them to receive it and return it (we're staying at the Polynesian). I can be there to receive it, but the timing doesn't work for the pick up.

So..what are the real chances of us being able to get a wheelchair at each park, each day, if we arrive when the parks open?

Although, there is no guarantee you should be okay for a park wheelchair rental if you go at opening. It's first come, first serve. Keep in mind it still can be a trek to get from resort to park without a wheelchair; it will depend if that person is somewhat mobile to handle it. Then, you leave the wheelchair at the park and you have the trek back to your resort or car again. This is each and every day.

Remember, you have stroller and scooter rentals in the same line for wheelchair rentals. This could take a little bit of time to get one.

You haven't stated the length of your stay but maybe consider getting a Scooterbug wheelchair for the rest of your stay and only rent on Monday at the park, if possible. Also, there are cancellations all the time; so, keep trying to get a Scooterbug wheelchair for your whole stay. You never know.

Give Gold Mobility a call, they should be able to assist you, they meet on your schedule for drop off and pickup (currently 7 AM to 7 PM) and are very helpful.
