chances of Canadian ticket deal extension?

What do people think the chances of the Canadian ticket deal being extended are? I'm considering a trip next August (2018) and the deal on tickets would save us a lot. But I'm not going to have a better idea if I can do the trip or not until this summer. If we don't go then I'm not sure when we would go or who would be going. So if I buy them now and we don't go next August, I don't know when the tickets would get used.

I sort of doubt that they would extend the offer a second time but you never know. If you can buy tickets now then do it but keep in mind that there is now an expiry date attached to tickets. I believe that first use must take place by 12/31/2018.

Really? I thought that the expiry date was an error and Disney took it down after a couple of days. Darn, there go my savings plans...

The expiry date is attached to the tickets for DisneyLAND, the tickets for DisneyWORLD have an expiry date of December 31, 2030. If you think you might ever go again and you have the cash (or airmiles) that you can leave sitting tied up in some tickets I say, go for it!

I don't think they have an expiry. But my problem is if we don't go next August I'm not sure when we will make it again. And my two oldest may not come with us if we go later then 2018 because they will be starting university/working etc.

I just did some playing around with numbers and the free dining deal would be very close to what I would spend using the Canadian deal and a room only discount (plus what we would spend on meals). I thinks it's because I have 3 Disney adults in one room.

So I think I should just wait. But if i can go and they don't have a similar ticket deal or free dining I'm going to kick myself lol.

Expiry date for Disney WORLD is December 31, 2030.

Wish they would bring back the Cdn discount for Disneyland. I couldn't buy them when they were on because we're not going until Oct 2018 and they expired mid-Jan 2018. Sigh.

Where is this info? I know people are saying that's what it says on their MDE but is it anywhere on the website?
The only place the expiry is showing up is in people's MDE once they add the tickets. There is no indication of this on the website, but i trust the people who have reported this, one person even shared a screen shot of his account.

I have gone through my MDE and can't find a date for expiry anywhere...do you know where I can find it?

If you're unsure who might be going in your potential party it might still make sense to grab some for yourself, a husband/wife, young children etc and save some money that way.

For example, I might buy a ticket for myself and DS5 but maybe not DW and she can decide at a future/firm date what ticket she wants to get. Or I might buy myself and DW if we might not get there before DS turns 10.

I think you can only see the expiry date on the Disney app (not through the website) or at least that's how it seems to be for me. I bought tickets on the promotion and when I look at the tickets on my iphone app I can see the expiry date as being 2030 (but no expiry info when I log onto my account through the web.)

I have a feeling if they do extend it, the new promo will have expiry dates and they will update the pricing to be 25% off the new US ticket prices. Also right now you can buy the Canadian tickets with the water park & more add on without having to add park hopper. The US tickets you have to have park hopper to get the WP&M option, which will cost you more to get those tickets, if they update the promo to reflect the new ticket structure.

I see that too on MDE. Exp 2030 but they were advertised as non exp so how can they put an exp date on after you buy them advertised as non exp? It's 13 yrs from now, but still....... IMO there shouldn't be any exp.
