Chances of Booking HHI for the Spring

We may want to book a studio at HHI for the end of next April, but we won't know unless we decide to cancel our family HHI trip that is booked for July. If we cancel 31 days out, that will be the end of June, so to book the April trip, we will be about 10 months out. I know there are only 16 studios, but I don't know how fast they book up during the spring. What are my chances? Our dates are fairly flexible.

Hmmm. I didn't think about that. Easter is April 17, and we were looking at April 21-25. That might be difficult. I know the RBC Heritage usually takes place around the middle of April, and we definitely want to miss that. We may have to move the trip up to the end of March/first of April. Worried about Spring Breaks then though.

Studios and one beds are always tough at HHI, even during the shoulder seasons before and after summer.

2 bedrooms obviously are the easiest to come by....but if youve got home resort (which it sounds like you do) it’s usually not an issue in that 10 month timeframe....

You shouldn't have a problem with March at 10 months. It filled up tight around the 8 to 7 month time frame this year. I've been watching it, but I was booking a 1 bedroom. Still I kept an eye on all room sizes as I was gearing up for a grand villa later this year, and considering whether I would reduce from 2 bedroom to 1 bedroom or studio to conserve points for my GV. Some of April was gone before March dates were gone, and later dates booked faster.
