Chances of BLT ressie September?

We are booked in our home resort (Beach Club) for Sept 7 to 12 for my 2 year old daughters birthday on the 11th. What do you think are the chances of getting a reservation at BLT at 7 months? Are the BLT owners going to flood the resort at opening, even with school in session?

Does anyone have experience staying in a new resort in the first few weeks? Are there start up issues?

It's hard to say. Labor Day is 7 Sept 2009. (Kind of late this year). But even the schools that start late will be back to school the day after Labor Day. ( I wouldn't think folks would want to keep their kids out of school espeically for the first day of school. ) I think Sept after Labor Day is traditionally a slow time, so maybe you have a chance at it.
It sounds like you have a good plan going--if you can't stay at BLT, staying at BCV would be good, too.

I too am wondering about the possibility of a reservation at BLT in the fall of 09. When are they starting to take reservations for BLT? I was hoping I would be able to get one at 7 months thinking that sales might not be great right now and they would have rooms available. Of course, all of you know far more about this than I do. I can always hope though......

The less sales the less rooms that will be declared into DVC inventory. You may have a better chance with a cash reservation.
