Chances of 2 BDR OKW, BWV or AKL in December '08

I will have only 24 points left after staying at BCV and going on a cruise. I'd like a 2 bedroom for one night after the cruise but at BCV that is 30 points. Ideally, I would like to not buy points and try out another resort. Point-wise I could get a 2BDR at AKL (V or S categories are 22 & 23 points respectively), BWV (S category 24 points) or OKW (22 Points).

The reservation would be for a popular time with DVCr's (Dec 10th) and I could only book at the 7 month window. What do you think my chances would be for a 2 bedroom at any of these properties at the 7-month window?

OKW
AKL (V or S category)

Would I be better off booking 2 studios at my home resort at the 11 month window (24 points) and not worry about being in a 2 bedroom? Or would you just use that as a back-up plan and cancel that reservation if a 2bdr was available at the other resorts?

For one night, at that time of year, I'd at least start out with the 2 studios at your home resort, and then see about making a switch at 7 months.

I would book the two studios at the 11 month mark for the December stay.

I know BWV standard views would be long gone by the 7 month mark. I used to try every year for the first half of December and gave up when I never even got waitlists to come through. That is how I ended up purchasing my BWV contract.

Okay, I will definitley book two studios for a 'backup' plan and will try for either AKV or OKW.
