Chances at VGC?

OK so I see this info:
VGC - 0 Dedicated Studios - 0 Dedicated 1BR villas - 23 Dedicated 2BR villas - 23 Lockoffs - 2 Grand Villas = 48 Units / 71 Max. Available Rooms

Does that mean that there are 23 possible studios? Are the chances pretty good that we could get 2 studios at the 7mo mark for mid-October?

I don't know about DVC availability at VGC at that time, but I can tell you that October is becoming one of the busiest months at DL (with all their Halloween stuff going on). That said, my DSis has never had problems booking at 7 months at VGC.

I would suggest calling first thing at your 7 months to be safe.

Ditto. OP, that is the correct room breakdown so as you can see 23 studios is not very many then combine that with the popularity of Halloween it could be difficult. When we bought our VGC points at the end of May 2010 I tried to get 5 nights in a studio for the last week of October 2010 and I think only 2 nights were available. Granted that was at 6 months before and the last week of October might be more popular since it ends with Halloween. Also, depending when exactly in October you want to go, you might run into some availability issues if kids have time off school for Columbus Day.
Definitely get on the phone right when MS opens at the 7th month mark and waitlist if needed since there's always a chance someone else changes their plans.

We have stayed in October. Our studio was available at the seven month mark. Good Luck! VGC and DL is our favorite! May is our favorite month, followed my October.
