chance of getting into Aulani in Oct on points?

hubby and I plan to stay at Aulani in Oct. I wonder if I can get in on points in Oct. I can't book until March. Also do you think you can use Disney Gift cards there?

If you own at Aulani, then you need to call MS right away to book this. If you do not own Aulani points, then it will be difficult to answer this as it is a brand new resort with no history or experience of booking October at the 7 month window.

My guess is the Disney Gift Cards should be perfectly ok to use there.
