chance of getting BCV in May?

i booked us at BWV (studio) may 13-18 and we're on the waitlist for BCV. is this month typically a busy time for DVC? just wondering if we have much of a shot at getting into BCV...we'd like to try it. thanks!

I think you have a chance but any time you are well within the 7 month window, your chances become less. Good luck on your waitlist but if it doesn't work out, the BWV is a great place.

I traded over to BCV day by day at the 7 month window in OCT and there was only a few rooms left then.

We were able to get a BCV 2BR in May at 7-months out last year. It was a perfect vacation!

I think you'll be fine! People cancel out all the time. I waitlisted a few months out for BWV for a July trip. First BC came in and then BWV within a few days. Don't sweat it!

Just wanted to update that I got a confirmation today that we got into BCV! We're so excited to try a new resort (new for us). I was a little nervous that it wouldn't come through, but it did! Thanks for your help and well wishes.

I booked the 15th through the 20th and was told that nothing was available at BCV for the entire week. I think it is busy there because of the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. I was able to get BWV though, so the location is just as good. Just not my BCV.

I called yesterday about availability on May 20th (Friday) for any studio availability at WDW. All resorts had availability for that one night - even BW, preferred, Standard AND Boardwalk View.

Still can't decide where to go. I thought AP rates might be out by now to help.

I had the same good luck. About 3 weeks ago, I booked VWL (home) for May 25-28 and requested a waitlist for the BCV. I got my confirmation for the BCV before the VWL - something must have opened up the next day. Have fun!
