Chance of a last minute ressie??

Has anyone ever added nights onto their stay, either at the resort they are currently in or a different one, after arriving at Disney? We're not positive yet what we are going to do after our 5 nights at BCV (long story...) We were going to go to Universal, but now may stay at Disney because we have friends vacationing at the same time on-site, also.

I'm sure we can find SOMETHING SOMEWHERE...but what would our chances be of something onsite? Or even onsite at Universal?

I have made tons of last minute reservations. Can't gurantee you a discount however! I can normally find a room.

We have made same day reservations many times...just like carol said...discounts are not guaranteed...but some have been available.

Depends on the time of year you are going. I wouldn't count on getting a discount at the last minute though.

I have added additional days on to my stay while there. I have been lucky to get the AP rate too.

We haven't added on days BUT we switched resorts at the last minute and didn't have a problem. I don't know though, with all the talk about resorts being full. But surely you could find something. Good luck.

Last week I called on Thursday and was able to get an AP rate of $99 for a King room at CBR for the next night. It was nice to end our vacation on site .

We just added one night at the Portofino Bay Resort (US/IOA) for our first night for 3 weeks from now. We got the room with an entertainment discount. Reg. rate $259, we got it for $155. Last month we had to cancel our trip because of an emergency, then after things calmed down, we rescheduled it. We got a 9 night stay a the A/S Movies calling just 2 days before arriving, and we even got it at a CM rate of 50% off. It was meant to be. So it's always possible if you're flexible.
