Chance at AK 2 Bedroom for June??

Do I have a chance in Hades of a 2-bedroom standard view at AK for the week of June 20th? I have two studios booked at SS right now, but my DH just loves AKL. We stayed there when it opened, and it's special to us.
I'm sure SS is super, but that's not where we want to be. I have, of course, waitlisted at AK. I'm just not very hopeful.

Unfortunately we're getting closer to that date and I think standard might be harder to get.

However, I really wanted to reply to your thread to say DON'T RULE OUT SSR AS BEING JUST AS NICE OF A TRIP!! It is a beautiful resort and if you like DTD you will really appreciate this resort. SSR is not our home resort, but I wouldn't be sad if it was.

Good luck with AKV, but I know you'll have a great trip no matter where you stay.

Thanks for the reply! I would be more excited about SSR, if we were allowed to stay in a 2 bedroom unit. We are 4 adults, 4 juniors, and two infants. The max number DVC will let me put in a 2 bderoom at SSR is 8 plus one infant. It's available, but I was told no.
AKV, however, will let us put 8 plus two infants in a 2 bedroom.

You are correct Standard and SV rooms at AKV sleep 9. (Value 2BRs sleep 8.) There is a sleeper chair in the living room for the 9th person. But only one pack 'n play for one of the infants. I'm not sure if you can ask for a second pack 'n play. Does anybody know? I do know that you can ask for a crib at Jambo House as they have them available for cash guests. But there is no guarantee that you'll get one.

BLT is the same way, the 2BRs sleep 9. But it is very difficult to get a Standard view room at the 7 month mark or later.

Thanks for the PD, DenLo. I called this morning and removed the AKV waitlists, though. We'll just keep what we have at SSR and concentrate on the joy of being together. Putting so much thought and worry into the ressie, was ruining the vacation for me. Vacations are supposed to be fun and relaxing!
