Champion 5K at HS

Is anyone else here doing this race on March 5th? It's my first Disney Race and I'm so excited about running through Hollywood Studios! Tried to find info on the course but there doesn't seem to be any specifics. I'm sure it will be a blast no matter which way it goes!

We're running with our kids who are 10 & 14. Can't wait should be fun!

I am planning on running it with my brother. But I have to take an extra day of vacation to do it. We (my family and my wifes family) are all going to WDW for a week and our arrival day is actually March 5. But I am going down early and stay at my brothers apartment. It's 5 miles from the world, how I envy him.

I just found out about this last week and im so excited its taking place while we are there so we can participate!! Last year I completed my first 3 - 5K's so im excited to add a DISNEY 5K to my list!!!

I'll be doing it. I'm going that week for my DD's 6th birthday, and I get to run the Princess the first weekend and ESPN 5k the second. What a great week to go!

I just saw this and would love to do it! Does transportation run that early? We'll be staying at WL and I have no way to get there otherwise.

You'll have to be staying at one of the host resorts, and it looks like CBR and ASSP are the only two for this race. You can either get a taxi for HS, or rent a car and drive there.

My dad and I are running in the teams division! We were originally suppose to arrive on the 5th but we moved our trip up a day so we could participate in this! I ran the WDW half marathon on Jan. 8 and it was SOO much fun, I can't wait to run another Disney event. I'm sure they will be running busses to Hollywood Studios early enough to make sure everyone can get there is time!
