Champagne at Escape- Cuvee vs. Cristal

Hello Everyone!

My husband wants to have one bottle of Cristal for us. I'm not a drinker and the Cuvee and Cristal would probably taste the same to me. Is there a difference in taste? How does the Sparkling Cider taste? Can you choose to have a different Sparkling drink rather than apple cider?

FYI: Cristal is $400 for one bottle. That's half a character fee

Waste of money if you ask me. I think it might appear slightly rude to drink the good stuff in front o the guests and give them the 'cheap' stuff. How about having it in your room that night with some chocolate covered strawberries or left over cake? Also, if you don't drink and won't appreciate it or even notice the difference it seems silly. Go have a nice couples massage at the Grand Floridian... much better use of $400 IMO.

The sparkling cider is Martinelli's, so you could buy some at the grocery store (for 1/4 what Disney charges! ) and try it for yourself!

If it's something that your husband really wants todo, then I'd say look into it. If you're anything like me, what they want doesn't often come to mind when planning my *cough* I mean our wedding

I'm not a drinker either, and I don't think you'll notice any different between the 2 bottles. It is an awful lot of money for something that's not that important, so maybe find out how much he really wants it.
