Challenge: how many FP+ can you get in 1 Day?

Saturday was our big day. We learned a lot. I gave up twice when I as starving, but we got back into the game. Visiting all four parks in a day always takes a lot out of me, but it feels like a great accomplishment. It is always memorable. You won't believe the ending. Quite amazing.

Park #1 Magic Kingdom.

The monorail was not working and a couple of thousand people were waiting for the Ferry. The boats hold 600. As we walked up one boat was loading, one boat load was waiting. When my turn came to board, there were two boat loads behind us. We missed our very first FP...splash mountain. But we rescheduled it. Rode Peter Pan FP1 (50 minute wait for SB). Rode Splash FP replacement, then Haunted Mansion and FP3 on Space Mountain. The park was filling up. The Starbucks line was 40 minutes. I didn't have breakfast or coffee, and I was getting crabby. We bailed to Epcot for food. 3 FP and 1 extra ride. No coffee. We left by 10:30. The FP kiosks were crowded and the Guest Services line was more than a 30 minute wait. I wanted to complain about something, but hunger made me move on. :)

Park #2 Epcot. The park was insane by 11:15. We first grabbed a FP4 for Nemo. It was also time to pick up our Port Wine Glass for three consecutive days at Food and Wine. The lines were full and backed up down the hallway.

I still had no breakfast or coffee. I told my daughter I was done. I was going to eat and go back to the pool. After lunch and coffee at The Coral Reef, we rode Nemo. And I felt great. Nothing interesting at the kiosks, so we headed to DAK via bus.

Epcot: got my first ever extra FP, a port glass, lobster soup, rode one ride and left. Kind of a fail.

Extra FPs:

Barnstormer at 4:05 (booked at 3:35, SB was 30 mins)
WtP at 4:45 (booked at 4:15, SB was 40 mins)
Mickey at 4:55 (booked at 4:35; SB was 25 mins)
JC at 6:50 (booked at 6:38; SB was 25 mins)
PotC at 7:25(booked at 7:17; SB was 15 mins)
BTMRR at 9:30 (booked at 7:45; SB was 30 mins)
Tinkerbell at 10:30 (booked at 10:26; SB was 10 mins

So, 11 total. We could have had more, but we got tired and went back to the hotel. I'm trying to decide if I want to attempt to break my record on our November trip. It will be more of a challenge, as our SDMT passes are booked for later in the day, so we won't be eligible for 4th FPs until 2:20. I have to look at my MK days and see what I can do.

Our next stop was Animal Kingdom. When we there, the only fastpasses left were tough to be a bug and Kali. We selected FP5 bugs life. We didn't really need it. There were more people with fastpasses than without fp. Still enjoyed the show. We went to ride the Rafiki Express, walk the Pangani trail, and then watched the Nemo show. Wait times too long for more rides, so we headed to DHS. Wondering if any FP would be left.

Oh yeah, we sat at the lounge in Yak & Yeti and had appetizers and rehydrated. That was a nice bonus.

I have had 12 in one day at MK, too - but that is because I was there alone and had all of our APs with me when I went. :duck:

Things got exciting in Hollywood Studios. We strolled in around 5:30, walked up to the kiosk and promptly add Rockin' Roller Coaster as our FP6. Went to the Brown Derby Lounge and enjoyed the duck confit sliders (maybe my favorite food on property) and manhattans. Then visited Aerosmith. Maybe not the best order there with the manhattans and rollercoaster. Got off the ride and at the kiosk we scored Toy Story Midway Mania for 2 as our FP7. We couldn't believe it. It overlapped the rest of our group who were waiting for the shootout. All five of us got to play together. We exited TSMM and went to the kiosk and snagged a couple of FPs for the Great Movie Ride..FP8. We didn't need it, because the line was empty, but we got our 8th one anyway.
