For the very first time, we will be at Disneyland ON my birthday! Sure - we've celebrated birthdays in the parks a week or two before or after, but this will be my first time going on the actual date. :cool1: This is a huge deal for me. Since I was born 6 days before Christmas, I don't often celebrate the day with much fanfare.

To celebrate getting one year older, I'm looking for something new to do.
Being a Disneyland vet, I think we've done everything at least once. That being said, I'm guessing there is at least ONE thing I don't know is available.

What super-secret or obscure offerings do you know? Any suggestions?

There really isn't much left which isn't common knowledge. The top ones are probably as follows which the average parkgoer either doesn't know about or can't access:

All things C33
Waking up Jose in the Tiki Room
Jungle Cruise map
Pilot the Mark Twain
Lilly Belle
Tender Ride
Jingles on KAC
WIWF tour
California Adventure Powerwalk
Art of Craft tour at the Grand

I can't really think of anything else which is an experience which is even remotely unknown.

I didn't know this but you can go INSIDE the Columbia?

Also, I think a lot of people have never done the Davy Crockett Canoes (counting me, and I've been to Disneyland like 30+ times :scared1:). We're planning on doing it on our next trip ::yes::

I don't know how many people are going, but if it's your birthday, and if you're a foodie like me, I think you should treat yourself to Napa Rose's vintner's menu :thumbsup2

Disney gallery shows seasonal artwork and currently is showing Steampunk-Disney art and I hear that they are going to have Haunted Mansion themed artwork soon :goodvibes

Dunno if these are very "secret" or just a bit unpopular

Be sure to tell the skipper on the Jungle Cruise that it is your birthday - he/she will sing you a funny birthday song!

We like the Animation Academy and everything in that building...the Beast's Library, Ursula, etc

Get a birthday button at City Hall. You will get a few CMs wishing you happy birthday. Also, politely ask for something special, like maybe a solo boat trip on small world, or sit in the last row of the Big Thunder Mountain Train. They will try their best to make it happen, or at least let you know otherwise.
