Chair Rentals

I just contact Chair Affair for pricing on the chiavari chairs and they sent an email back immediately that they are now contracted with DFTW and they will give me pricing for contracting them. I was quite bummed!
Sooooooooooooo who else have people used for chairs that we aren't paying DFTW prices?

Wow! I couldn't use them because of my venue but that is a little messed up that Disney is making deals with outside vendors and thereby preventing their brides from saving money.

I hope someone else comes along with another vendor..I'll do some research...

Oh I agree!! We originally wanted the ADH but our guest count rose a little and I could save money by using outside vendors at a ballroom but if they take them away from me grrrrrrrrrrrr

It seems like a lot of Disney brides get outside vendors to do chairs at their weddings. Is there a problem with the chairs they have? I was honestly just going to have the chairs that automatically come with the room and the white chair covers.

No problem—it's just that if you want chiavari chairs or anything unique, you can save a ton of money by using an outside vendor. If the white chair covers are OK with you, you don't have to worry about it.

I hate the look and feel of chair covers so we discussed the chiavari chairs. I was told they were switching vendors and that it would be about the same price to rent the chairs as it would be to have the chair covers, about $10.50 each. This was 2 weeks ago at my planning session.

I am using an outside company. It is Orlando wedding and party rentals. The cost of the chairs are $6. It's half the price of Disney!! I am getting silver chivari chairs with black cushions. The company is so wonderful and very quick to respond. My sister used them for her wedding. The total cost for 100 chairs is $735. That includes set up, break down, tax and delivery. That's great for those of us that need to use Disney. I think it's still advantageous for those who can to seek outside vendors though since disney's mark up is so high! I think a chair affair was charging around $5 per chair.
