Chadwick survey email rx'd

I rx'd the Chadwick email survey today and completed. Survey is very heavy DVC. The questions seem to be searching for a new resort sales strategy and configuration. Questions revolved around room size(sq. ft. 900,1200 & 1400 for 2BR), amenities, services(spa, room service,etc), pool options, minimum # of points, housekeeping, fireplaces in rooms, seperate dining area, kitchen appliances, upgraded beds and linen, # of bathrooms, washer & dryer, balconies. They had a list of preset resort options and you had to select 1, then check if you would buy within the next 5 years and how many points you would buy(they had preset minimums of 100 to 200 depending on the size and services offered). Room selections ranged from small (900 sq ft) to large (1400 sq ft) 2 br units very basic services to in room gym's in the large units with full maid services. Whirlpool tubs in place of regular tubs.

To many things to remember all the options but some sounded pretty good.

Interesting.....
It almost sounds like early plans for a DVCII are being discussed, or making a new "super luxury" DVC resort. Of course, the spa questions could be a way to market SSR. So much possible speculation.

I also received & completed the survey last night. There were also questions regarding interest in a more "basic" dvc option, ie smaller rooms, more basic room amenities, not pool slide, & fewer exchange options (no conceirge collection, etc.) The way this was all worded made me think that they could be considering a less expensive DVC option as well as a more "lux" DVC option. Maybe that's what they're considering doing with some of that extra Pop Century capacity (shudder). Would love to see the lux version though - what they have now is pretty nice!

I got the email for the survay today, but I am waiting until hubby comes home so we can do it together (have to share the Disney Joy!) We got the phone call about getting the survay over 2 months ago.

Interesting, there is 20 $ gift for completing it, or you can donate your $ to a charity.
