Does anyone have these Chaco Hipthong sandals and if so what do you think of them?

I don't have the hipthong (kinda making this a moot point!) but I do have the regular ole chaco flip, which I LOVE. The hipthong seems to have a bit of a thicker sole, so I bet they would be a bit more comfy. I have worn the flip in the parks all day and there is no doubt I am more comfortable in my Tevas, but I am guessing the hipthong would offer cushioning similar to the Tevas vs the thinner Chaco flip...HTH!

Thanks for the input. I saw them on Eddie Bauer web site and I thought they looked pretty nice. I am just searching for something to use my merchandise credit from Eddie Bauer on. I thought sandals for Disney but I am very partial to my Croc Capris. Thanks again. I am off to search their site again.:)

Don't have the Hipthong, but the Z1 Unaweep is fantastic. Wore it all week at Disney and never a problem. DH loves them as well (though it took a little convincing fr him to try them).

I have the Hipthong and it's my go-to casual sandal at home. In fact, I was just wondering this morning if I would wear them during our September trip. I have to say probably not at the parks - probably to Typhoon and for more casual evenings with little walking. I love my Chacos but the footbed of them is quite nubby and when my feet are hot and slightly swollen, they make the soles of my feet sore. Now, YMMV, as I am Pooh-sized and do have issues with swollen feet after being on them for long periods of time when it's hot outside. For everyday, non theme park commando use, they are great.

Take a look at Zappos.com - they frequently offer free or upgraded shipping and free returns. I buy Eddie Bauer clothes and shoes for both hubs and I but will only order when they offer shipping or discount deals. I think their shipping charges based on amount spent are exorbitant.

I have the hipthong and I have the Teva's that look very similar to them...I would hands down choose my Teva's over the Chaco's any day.. I tried wearing my Chaco's to MK one day and I thought I was gonna DIE!!! My feet hurt sooooo bad (they were over a year old so very broken in)..something about the Chaco has a high arch where as the Teva does not!!! JMHO:thumbsup2
