WhooHoo,,, I just ebayed 400.00 dollars worth of Longaberger Pottery and Baby's formula that was sent to me for samples!!

I still have 1 auction up for 1 day park hopper for 49.00 and I already have 1 bidder with 4 days to go!!

Now onto my maternity cloths, baby cloths and baby bedding....

:bounce: :Pinkbounc Good Job!

Hey look at that, our counters are pretty close...

Wow! That's great. I actually started e-baying on the advice of a friend I met on a coupon board before I started coming here and read the initial thread. It's so great to see how much people are making. I've only made around $250 so far, but it's only been a few weeks, so not too bad. I have some going now, and what they are at now will give me another $35 or so and I still have several days on them, so I should make more. Most of what I list are clearance finds, so I just take them back if they don't sell. I'm just hoping for $400 by the time we go the middle of May. I haven't listed all that much, so I need to get going.

BTW, I am near Columbus now, but my sister lives in North Canton and I grew up south of Canton between Canton and New Philadelphia.

Oh wow small world... My DH grew up just North of New Philadelphia....

As for Ebay... Longaberger sells VERY well and that is the only reaons I made so much. I have decided to stop collecting their pottery. I probably paid over 600.00 for it years ago so technically it's not a profit to me. Oh well just cleaning out my house so I can buy more things I really don't need.. :teeth:

Good job!!!

I'm going thru DD's clothing again and listing a bunch of children's place stuff this Sunday. Listed some other miscellaneous clothes last weekend too. Time to get it out of here!!!!!!!!!

I envy those of you with the 'popular' stuff. I feel like my house is just filled with the old normal stuff everyone has!

DH and I have been selling on Ebay for awhile now. I always have alot of luck with DD's used Gymboree clothes. I have noticed that girls clothing sells better than boys. We are going through all our stuff and getting ready for a garage sale. We just started this week putting stuff up we had sitting in boxes. I can't believe what they are selling for! Gotta love ebay!

Sold your Longaberger Pottery- I can't bring myself to part with mine.... but I do have some baskets I wouldn't mind ebaying.... they don't seem to go for too much though. I really thought some of my Disney stuff would go for more- guess there's really no rhyme nor reason as to what people spend their money on!

I can't believe someone would buy baby formula on ebay.
If that is true there must be some stuff around my place that would sell.
Congrats and keep it up!

I know it was very hard to do but I didn't have the money to complete my collect... With 2 very small children my money has been going to my new obession DISNEY... :teeth: Anyway, I am in love with the solid color pottery now and if I decide to start collecting again it will probably be that...

The only baskets I have had luck with have been seasonal baskets...

I know I couldn't believe it either. I was going to just give it away since it's not the kind that I have been using.. Plus I have ebayed coupons I get at the grocery store on my reciepts too!! Since I always get a coupon for another brand I lump them together and sell them on ebay... I still can't believe some people pay for coupons!

Jgates....I'm right there with you...I've made a whopping $22.00.
:D :D

Wow,

and pepole actually pay for coupons!

herc.

I bought a coupon from ebay for 1/2 off bill at Baskervilles- We go there for breakast and this year there will be 8 of us. I paid 1.50 it will save us a lot more than that.
To the person who said they don't have popular stuff- you never know what someone might buy.
They just opened a Filene's Basement near me and I heard that they had Prada bags at $40 (hard to believe, I know)
I may buy some stuff, try to sell and return it if it doesn't sell.

One man's junk is another man's treasure!!
I finally started selling & am excited to say that I have made just over $50 so far. This is just the tip of the iceburg. I haven't even started clothes yet. I am so excited. The only problem is that I want to check the computer every 2 minutes to see if anything has changed!! Now I'm hooked so I told dh if it is not nailed down it's going on eBay!!! He is more then happy since I am a packrat & have tons of stuff to get rid of! I feel like it is going to a good home since people took the time out to bid for it! SOOOOO much better then a garage sale!
It was so easy too! No excuses people - DO IT!

I used to collect My Little Ponies. I sold all of the ones that I owned (with the exception of a handful) and made almost $4,000.

It's amazing what you'll find in your house!

GREAT JOB!!:Pinkbounc

Isn't it exciting to see people buy up the stuff that would just sit around and collect dust.

For all who read my last response about my Little mermaid 24 pc bed room set, it ended last night at $192.50. W:eek: W.

With a reserve of $60 and a buy now of $100, who would have thoght that would double.

Man I love ebay. $430 since 3/11/04 is great.

I pay for coupons :) Only a couple pennies on the dollar though. It's definately worth it for me! I was buying A LOT of Rice Dream coupons off ebay so I could get it for free at my grocery store that doubled to $1.00. I now have a pantry of rice milk that will last DS for the next 6 months and it was all free with the coupons :) I also have about 20 boxes of cereal I got free with coupons I bought and a huge stockpile of other things as well :)

I have a mint collection of Strawberry Shortcake dolls and MLP's from when I was younger. My grandma won't give them to me though because she thinks I'll sell them on ebay LOL. (I probably would since I have a son).

Anyone have an idea on when's the best month to list Halloween costumes? I have a Zurg and a Peter Pan that I'd like to unload and I want to list them so that I make the most on them.

Thanks!
