I got the same one. Training is back up today. I'm home sick so I'm trying to make some money. I had to give my second bad today on a training session. The guys keyword was mexican recipes and he sent me a bunch of other recipes. I let him know that those weren't what I was looking for and he told me "food is food" and then refused to change them. He also couldn't type which was already frustrating. At one point there were several lines of just random letters. He didn't explain or apologize or anything. I felt bad so I checked his previous searches and he received ok and bads so I don't feel so bad.

Wow! That's all I can think of to say, just WOW! It sounds like he deserved a "bad" rating.

I know I haven't checked in in awhile, but haven't been doing a ton of chacha. Everytime I go on, system issues. Hopefully the bugs are getting worked out. With the Beta version launching, the spark may be back. I'd love to be on there more, but when you can't complete any searches, it gets frustrating. But it sounds like it may be time to get back on the " Chacha your way to Disney" horse.

I've been on for the last few hours, I haven't had one search on my own
words , Most all of my searches are the real ones. I have also been
getting alot of dings to train others but I'm not quick enough to snag em
up.

My Sponser is making enought off of me that he may be able to
retire soon ,,,,, hahahaha

if you go to their site ,, there is a link there that says " How to become a chacha
guide" click on that and it will ask you a few questions,,,, then they get back to you.

I signed on a few days ago and had no idea what I was to do, then someone came and asked me to look something up-I assume this was a trainer? I let them know it was my first time, and they were great with me.........so do I get paid for this time? If so, how? Is there any training or info I can get to answer all my questions? You are not paid for training. You will get paid when you make Pro and Master. I would suggest that you mark yourself as Away until you read the Blog and View all the Training Videos.

Also, in the upper right hand corner is a spot that says "need help" and you can click there and read the stuff in the knowledge base.

The most helpful training videos I've seen have not been made by ChaCha but rather by a fellow guide. You can view them at www.thinkchacha.com They're really helpful!

This is how not to be a good guide. She sent over a result that in no way answered my question (this is a training session). She immediately flipped out when I questioned her about it.

She claimed to be new at this yet after the search I checked - she is a Master with 85 searches under her belt.

I send the transcript to ChaCha. They need to start removing guides like her. The funny thing, she did the same thing to another guide that I know during a search on Employee Morale.

What I don't understand if how she was able to transfer out of a training session

I don't understand this either. I've had guides in training transfer me as well. Whenever I do a training the button is grayed out. Maybe it works anyway???I've never tried because I need all my trainings to count. The reason she transfered is so that you wouldn't rate her poorly.

I think I've figured out the transfering in the middle of a training thing. I was training on one of my keywords earlier. I lost my connection in the middle of a search. The person who was training me then left me feedback in the graffiti section that said "Don't transfer your trainer". It must occasionally transfer the trainer if you loose your connection. It doesn't do it every time because there have been plenty of times that I obviously lost the person that I was training. It's the only explaination that I could come up with because I couldn't have clicked on transfer since I lost the connection and the button has been grayed out during trainings. Although that still wouldn't explain how your trainee transfered during a training that was obviously not going her way. So I guess that doesn't help.

Man, all I get is system issues. Haven't searched in probably 3 weeks because I always get booted off or can't even access the site. How frustrating. And I keep getting all these We're Doing Great With Our Improvements emails.

Geez XXXXX, what is their problem. I would personally like to know the persons doing the training and I have asked for a feature where you get to rate the trainer. You may want to make that suggestion as well. Hey, I see what you mean about the primary word thing right now. it won’t just let you go to new browser. you actually have to pick the category first and then make sure you have the primary word highlighted and then if you use one of their sites from the info tree, after that you can open new browser. lol. I think that is what I figured out!
Good for you for reporting the rude trainer. They don’t have to be that way. Just keep on doing what you are doing! You did fine with me twice!

Today one of my friends got to train her again and we were IMing while my friend was training her. My friend asked how training was going - Guide XXXX said she had a rude traininer yesterday. It turns out I was rude because I wouldn't give my name!!!

I'm sorry. I've never been asked to give my name when training so I'm not quite sure what I would do in that situation. I've definately had rude trainers/trainees before but I just let it roll off my back. Don't let them get to you.
