I signed up and got all my training in yesterday. I am now at pro satus. However, I have not had any searches with antone. How often do you get to search? I am waiting, can't wait to earn some spending money for Disney.

Sorry. I was misinformed. Invites are still up and people are being recruited. Check out the ChaCha folder at wahm.com for more details.

ChaCha is actually in ALPHA. We are not even in Beta yet. That will happen early next year, so expect some kinks and application problems.

Someone asked about pay and time involved, I work maybe 2 - 3 hours a day. Somedays I don't work at all and others I work longer. It just depends on the traffic on the site. I don't like to sit and wait for searchers or trainings. I've made about $115 (as of this morning) and I've been working ChaCha for about a month now.

Honestly, I think nights are better for getting real searches from the public. You have to be fast though. Keep your finger on the Enter key and as soon as you hear a doorbell, hit that button!

I'd have to agree. I was working frm home yesterday & had chacha up. Not too many searches{although that could have been mostly due to the site issues from all of the traffic.} But in the evening I get more searches. More folks home from work & more kids home from school.

And yes, you need a quick trigger finger to accept the searches sometimes. But I also find that if the search pertains to one of your keywords, it seems lke you have a bit more time to accept. Maybe that's just a coincidence, but it seems that way.

A good bit of the info has been covered previously in this thread. To become a guide, you need to have a current guide send you an invitation. Chacha occasionally gives their guides a few invites to send out to prospective candidates. And yes, the money we’re discussing comes from being a guide. If you have any other specific questions, feel free to ask.

You need to have a current guide send you an invitation.

I'm trying to get thru the registration process. It look me quite a few tries to complete the download maybe an 1 or 1.5 hr ago. Then its stuck on step #3 keywords. So I left & now trying to come back. Still no go.....it loads their page explaining you'll get 3 keywords & the rest of the page just says "there has been an error".

How are you paid & how often? Do they mail you a check? Or send to a paypal account? Or are you really only earning "online dollars" to use for shopping at places they approve?

Still can't finish registering. Would like more info before I spend alot of time trying to register on a site that won't co-operate. Thanks.

You can request a debit card or I believe a paper check whenever you want to cash out your account. I am saving for Disney so, mine will be there til next year..lol

When will ChaCha be available for Mac? I'm currently a guide and I've been doing it on my desktop PC, but I have a Mac laptop that I would rather do it on.

The system finally let me finish registering & adding keywords. Watched my training stuff. Had first training search....and I froze up (me...not the system). LOL I didn't know how to use the application. Guess I better go watch it again.

I did get an invite from someone , but it says after I fill it all out that the invite
is no longer valid ,,,, can anyone tell me whats up with that ?

I tried almost 10 times filling it out ,, can invites expire within minutes of you getting them ?

I also went to the site to sign up but all I got was a "make a comment" box.

sure would appriciate any hints or information if anyone wants to pm me.

From what I've been reading & what users requesting searches have told me, I'm getting the impression that the best chance to become a guide is to be invited by a current guide.

That’s a bummer. If that’s the case, I guess we’ll have to wait for when they start accepting new guides again & just be a little quicker.

A question for the other guides out there: if you don’t send out all of your current invites, when they offer more, do those new ones get added to your current supply? Or do you basically lose what you didn’t send out?
