CG and Wishes

I read somewhere that in the past you could see the fireworks from CG and that the music was piped into the resturaunt. Is this still the case with Wishes? We will be arriving at WDW on Oct. 27 and Wishes is being presented that night. i would really like to see it, but at the same time we are trying to NOT go to a park on the first day. TIA!

Yes, you can and the music is piped in..however..you must be a paying customer. No longer can you just go up and hang out to see the fireworks. You must have a ps.
